According to legend, during the time of Grand Master Perelos, cocoa beans were stored in Ħamrun, in an area known as ‘tas-Samra,’ though there is no documented evidence to confirm this claim. This festival will combine past traditions with new, innovative uses of chocolate in both food and art. Expert chefs, bakers, and chocolate makers will demonstrate and showcase their chocolate creations and recipes, offering visitors an opportunity to taste and learn about different uses of chocolate.
