They offer the most relaxing of holidays in the peaceful villages of the island. Villages with names such as Sannat, Gharb, Xewkija, Xaghara, Zebbug all offer this typical Gozitan accommodation.
Built of golden limestone with their own unique features. Accomodation has kitchen, bathroom, sitting room and usually balcony or terrace.

Tal Fanal is a development of rustic maisonettes built in Gozitan farmhouse style with typical furnishings, stone arches and wooden beams.
It is located in the village of Ghasri, just two miles from the island's capital Victoria.
Facilities include:
- A large swimming pool.
- One bedroom apartments (2 - 4 persons):
- Twin bedded room;
- Lounge with two divan beds, dining table and chairs, kitchen area with 4-ring gas hob, oven and fridge; bathroom and furnished terrace.
- All rooms have ceiling fan.
- Two bedded apartments (2 - 5 persons):
- Same as one bedroom plus a further bedroom and living room area.
