The hotel is blessed with ample land, offering myriad choices where to sit to enjoy peaceful solitude in the shade of bamboo parasols, read a book on one of the many landscaped terraces, or sip a romantic cocktail as the sun sets on the horizon across the open sea.
The 180 rooms, decorated in cool Mediterranean colours, are larger than average and offer all the facilities and luxury you would expect in a four-star hotel. Most have sea views and a very generous terrace, enabling you to savour the view - or candlelit room service - from the comfort of your room.
The hotel is designed as a resort, and offers all-inclusive packages, including alcoholic drinks, for those who cannot bear to tear themselves away. There is a heated indoor pool (winter only), jacuzzi and an exercise room, complete with massage and sauna, while an animation team in summer tempts guests with aqua-aerobics, salsa and various games. Families are well catered for, with extra beds available in many of the rooms, a safe play area including table-tennis, a pool table and the beach allowing parents to relax with their children in sight. A conference room will cater for those who want to combine work and play.
The hotel offers lavish buffet breakfast and dinners, in addition to its extensive à la carte menu. A kids' corner entices many adults away from the regular offerings! The pool bar offers a selection of snacks and themed nights are organised regularly, with entertainment. Guests will also have the freedom afforded by a mini-market. There is a lively bar by the restaurant, an internet café, a video games area and a souvenir shop.
There are also plenty of options outside the hotel: boat trips leave from the hotel quay, the reception has bicycles for hire, ferries leave from near the hotel to Comino and Gozo, and the public bus service passes within a stone's throw of the beach. The hotel has organised walks across the unspoilt countryside, and some of Malta's best sandy beaches are within a few kilometres radius. There is a scuba diving school on the premises, and the full range of water-sports to enjoy in the crystal clear waters.
